Social Phobia & Other Phobias
Social phobia, or social anxiety disorder, can deeply affect a young person’s ability to participate in school, friendships, or public situations. Other phobias—such as fear of specific animals, flying, or medical settings—can also lead to avoidance behaviors and limit opportunities for development. Prof. Tadros provides structured and empathetic care using graded exposure therapy, cognitive restructuring, and supportive coaching. By working closely with each individual and their family, he creates a therapeutic space where young people can overcome their fears gradually and confidently, building resilience and independence along the way.
