Insomnia & Sleep Disorders
Sleep is essential to the healthy growth and emotional balance of young people. However, many adolescents struggle with falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling unrested. Prof. Tadros addresses sleep problems by looking at both behavioral patterns and underlying mental health contributors. Treatment may include establishing routines, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), and strategies to reduce anxiety or overstimulation. When necessary, he may recommend short-term medical support. The aim is to restore restful sleep, which in turn supports focus, energy, emotional regulation, and overall mental health.
